Five types. Infinite metrics.
Mood as a percentage. Energy on a 1–10. Sleep in hours. A free-text reflection on the day. Anything you want to count, with whatever unit makes sense.
Push-driven check-ins. Custom metrics. A private dataset of how your life actually feels — built one quiet tap at a time.
Five metric types. A scheduler that bends to your day. Two dashboards that turn weeks of small taps into a clear, navigable record.

Three defaults. Or a fully custom schedule with weekly recurrence. Each reminder ties to its own set of metrics.
Calendar shows every check-in across day, week, month and year. Insights stacks configurable bar charts to surface trends you didn't see.
No required accounts. No third-party analytics on what you write. Every check-in is stored in a local SQLite database that only your phone ever sees — unless you choose to back it up.
Anonymous crash reports route to Sentry's EU servers (Frankfurt) — no PII, no input data, with a 90-day retention. You can opt out by writing us.
Varis isn't on Google Play yet. We're running a small, invite-only Android beta while we shake out edge cases and tune the check-in cadence.
Testers get manual Play Store invites and roughly weekly builds. No analytics on what you write, no account required, no surprises.

Yes, eventually. We're planning a freemium model where the core stays free and optional premium features (deeper insights, advanced add-ons) sit on top. Not yet implemented — coming soon.
Locally on your phone in a private SQLite database by default. Optional iCloud or Google Drive sync and backup is planned so you can carry your data between devices if you choose to.
No — not to use Varis. Open the app, set up your metrics, start checking in. Accounts will only become relevant if you opt into sync or premium features later.
Percentages, 1–10 scales, free text, yes/no, or any custom number with a unit. As many as you want.
Yes — under GDPR you can request a structured export, and you can clear all data inside the app.
Android first. iOS is on the roadmap and the codebase is cross-platform.
Three minutes to set up once you're in. Free during the beta. Add sync, backup, and more when you're ready.
